My Passions

I love using technology to not only make our lives easier but to improve the lives of everyone. With that being said, I love to problem solve, learn, and tinker by doing various DIY projects in my home, my lab, or with others. I specifically like to do home automation and have my house rigged up with lots of tech and automation! With all my DIY and experience in tech, I have most recently worked with my own family and various medical professionals with utilizing technology to help people who have dementia like my own Grandfather. Whether it is combating (and slowing) the degradation of the mind in people who have dementia, monitoring them, or keeping them safe and healthy- there is a lot of things that we can leverage technology for.

What I Do

I'm currently employed at PrismHR as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer & Release Operations Team Lead. My expertise lies with working with on-premise customers hosting our software suite and with their varying network topologies, SSL certificates, load balancers, firewalls, and other technological challenges existing at each respective location. In addition to On-Prem customers, I am also a team lead for release engineering, working on our release mechanics and infrastructure for our SaaS products that exist in our cloud environment.
